Job Description
– Managing and performing inspection of Instrument discipline – Generate client Requests For Inspection (RFI) where required providing sufficient notice for hold, witness and inspection points. – Prepare / Review the following Quality procedure documents submitted by the Subcontractors such are Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Material Approval Request (MAR). – Prepare / Review / Approve the related inspection reports where inspection results are recorded – Controlling inspection status by using systematic tools such as inspection matrix. – Setting and applying practical inspection process of particular discipline based on Project requirements and International Codes (providing ITP & managing Matrix) – Control NCRs to be closed out within the due date and supporting to prepare Corrective Action Plan properly. – Performing and coordinating inspection with client. – Carry out QC Supervisor’s responsibility in his/her absence. – Control quality violations through regular toolbox talk with the construction team. – Review and track material submittals required for Instrument Definable Features of Work prior to Preparatory Meetings. – Conduct Preparatory Meetings with Subcontractors related to Instrument Definable Features of Work. – Inspect incoming material deliveries by confirming specifications and compliance with approved submittals, conduct visual and measurement tests in conjunction with the onsite logistics team. – Reject and facilitate the return of unacceptable materials. – Ensure to apply lessons learned and proper preventive action conducted. – Supervise simulation and loop checking of various instruments as per company standards/specifications – Carry out third party valve testing of control valve and PSV valve Execution, witnessing and reporting of all visual and dimensional inspections including calibrations, a test showing inspection and test plans related to Instrumentation
